House management · Founded 2026
Vellamore
Vellamore is a private house-management company for owners of high-value second homes who are away much of the year. Founded by the family in 2026 and launching on Kiawah, its promise is simple: someone here, when you’re not.
What it does.
Vellamore gives an owner one trusted local point of contact for the house: scheduled visits, written and photo reports, issue triage, vendor coordination, storm and freeze readiness, and pre-arrival preparation. The Register makes local provider knowledge useful before someone becomes a client; Vellum keeps the private, permanent record of the house once they do. Technology sits behind the service rather than in front of it: it creates continuity, reporting and a better record of the house, but it does not replace the local judgment and human presence the homeowner is buying. The model is deliberately transparent — Vellamore represents the homeowner rather than making more money because more repair work is ordered.

What the collective does not do
It does not decide how a house is cared for, which provider is recommended or what an owner should approve. Vellamore leadership owns the service standard and represents the homeowner.
No company in the group has ever been sold, and none is being prepared for sale.
